The silver that’s in the glass pendant came from a ship that sank off of the coast of Florida in 1622 called the Atocha. The Spaniards would collect gold and silver from the Americas and once a year would take it back to Spain. That fateful year the Armada hit a hurricane and the Atocha ship sank. Mel Fisher found the Atocha and recovered much of the treasure.
